Since our illustrious leaders have managed , by accident or intent , to erode virtually all respect once held for the official institutions of our government including but not limited to the executive , legislative and judicial branches , it appears they have in their sights the one government entity that has managed to withstand this onslaught of degradation and maintain it’s place of respect in the hearts of most Americans .
Yes , I refer to the military . We are now witnessing the subjugation of the military brass to the alter of Political Correctness . Gone are the days when we named our ships after fallen service people and people of major accomplishment . Now we settle for crime victim back benchers of no particular note other than victimhood and community organizers of the socialistic persuasion . Woe is We .
